Chesapeake Peanut Crunch: Sweet, Spicy, Salty and Peanut-ty!
Chesapeake Peanut Crunch is the sassy, spicy counterpart to our Caramel & Peanut Crunch… kicked up with the taste of authentic Maryland J.O. Spice Chesapeake seasoning!
It starts with a fresh batch of our Caramel & Peanut Crunch, loaded with crushed peanuts and an extra touch of Mexican vanilla. We then apply a gentle measure of our custom seasoning blend made by the spice experts at J.O. Spice for an authentic Maryland taste experience. (This seasoning blend is also used in our savory offering, Maryland Crab Feast Crunch.)
It’s sweet, crunchy, peanutty, spicy and salty all in one bite!
INGREDIENTS: popcorn (popped in canola oil), brown sugar, crushed peanuts, sugar, butter, grape juice, vanilla, baking soda, spices, paprika, salt, soy lecithin, cream of tartar
ALLERGEN INFORMATION: Contains milk, peanuts and soy. Produced in a kitchen that also processes peanuts, tree nuts, milk and soy. This product is gluten-free.
The Rest of the Story…
This flavor, above all others, gets the greatest reactions at our product tastings! Folks from out of town may not be familiar with our beloved crab spice that we grew up with here in the DelMarVa (Delaware/Maryland/Virginia) region… and locals may have never tasted this seasoning on a sweet product like this caramel popcorn. Chesapeake Peanut Crunch brings it all together… It’s a CrunchDaddy original and a must try!
People often ask at our product tastings if Chesapeake Peanut Crunch is made with the famous “Old Bay” seafood seasoning. While “Old Bay” is a fine product, the spice blend that we use is made by J.O. Spice, which has been in the business of crafting Maryland’s finest original seafood seasonings since 1945. J.O. Spice is a local, family-owned company company. The spice blend that we use is custom made to our specifications for use on Chesapeake Peanut Crunch and Maryland Crab Feast Crunch. You’ll taste the quality in every bite!
